Discovery : DNCE

Non, vous ne rêvez pas, le nom de Jonas refait bien son apparition dans la musique. Malheureusement pour notre coeur d’ado encore brisé, il n’est pas associé au retour des trois frères ou à un nouveau single du plus jeune. Cette fois c’est le plus âgé qui revient sur le devant de la scène, avec un tout nouveau quatuor : DNCE. Projet qu’il prévoyait depuis déjà cinq ans.

Composé de Joe Jonas, Jinjoo Lee, Cole Whittle et Jack Lawless, le groupe s’est formé durant l’été 2015. Ce nouveau groupe, influencé par Earth et Wind & Fire entre autre, débarque avec un son offbeat pop sur leur premier EP ‘Swaay’, dont est extrait leur premier single ‘Cake By The Beach’.

No, this is not a dream, the name ‘Jonas’ is back on the musical scene. Unfortunately for our brokenhearted inner teen, it has nothing to do with the three brothers or the release of a new single by the younger one. No, the name is associated  with a new four-piece band: DNCE. A project which has been planned for the past five years.

Formed during summer 2015, this band is composed of Joe Jonas, Jinjoo Lea, Cory Whittle and Jack Lawless. This new band, influenced by Earth and Wind&Bird among others, shows up with an offbeat pop sound on their first EP ‘Swaay’. You can listen to their new single ‘Cake By The Beach’ below:
