Nous avions découvert le jeune britannique Declan McKenna et sa maturité au court de l’année 2016 avec son premier EP Stain. Le jeune homme nous avait déjà conquis avec sa voix profonde. C’est mardi que le britannique a décidé de sortir « The Kids Don’t Want to Come Home » une chanson pleine de vérité. Les paroles se révèlent être puissante, dénonçant l’isolement des jeunes dans la société, tout en gardant l’innocence de la génération. « Haven't you any shame/ Have you got no morals /Teaching them how to aim no / Sadness and no sorrow. »
We discoures Declan McKenna in 2016 through his first EP Stain. His maturity and deep voice quickly convince us of his talent. It's this Tuesday that the British singer released a new song "The Kids Don't Want To Come Home", a song full of truth. The lyrics are powerful, denouncing the isolation of a younger generation, while keeping its innocence tone : « Haven't you any shame/ Have you got no morals /Teaching them how to aim no / Sadness and no sorrow. »
Le duo anglais Aquilo n’arrête pas de nous surprendre en dévoilant un avant-goût de leur premier album « Silhouettes » à paraitre le 27 janvier prochain. Après « Sorry » et « So Close To Magic », Tom Higham et Ben Fletcher nous on révélé « Blindside » une chanson mélancolique et émotionnelle, comme nous les aimons. La voix du chanteur, Tom Higham, accompagné du piano nous fait ressentir toutes les émotions qui sont amplifié par la touche électronique au second plan : « I look at the way we live / and only see things I’d given up. »
The British band Aquilo never stops to surprise us with new songs off their soon-to-be-released album "Silhouettes" (27th January). Following "Sorry" and "So Close To Magic", Tom Higham et Ben Fletcher released "Blindside" a melancholic and emotional song. Tom Higham's voice makes us live all the feelings put in the lyrics guided by the piano and the electronique touches in the background gives another dimension to the song : « I look at the way we live / and only see things I’d given up. »
