Petite découverte française pour
bien commencer la journée avec Aliocha et sa tendre folk. Aliocha c’est un
musicien dans l’âme mais pas que. Le jeune auteur-compositeur qui vit entre
Montréal et Paris à plus d’un tour dans sac et plus d’une vie à son compteur. C’est
aussi un comédien et un acteur mais surtout un artiste à plein temps. Il a
commencé les cours de chant à 10 ans et il écrit ses chansons depuis qu’il a 16
ans et décrit sa musique comme un univers musical qui dérive vers la folk, le
grunge des années 90, le rock et l’Americana. Beaucoup de mots pour un artiste
mais si il y a bien une chose qu’il faut retenir c’est qu’Elliot Smith et Bob
Dylan font partit de ses inspirations, et qu’on peut le ressentir dans sa
musique
A French discovery to start the day well
with Aliocha and it’s tender folk.
Aliocha is a musician deep down in his soul, but not only. He’s also known for
his performances in plays as well as on TV, but he is mainly a full time
artist. He started taking singing class at 10 and 6 years later he wrote his
own songs. His music is described as a universe whom drifts from folk, to 1990’s
grunge, rock and finally Americana. Yes, a lot of words of one human being but
the only thing you need to remember is that he gets his inspiration from Elliot
Smith and Bob Dylan, and that we can feel it in it’s music.
Avec une voix atypique qui se
joint parfaitement avec ses doux accords de guitare, Aliocha écrit et chante ce
qui se rapproche le plus d’un poème. C’est plus qu’une simple histoire, ses
chansons nous transportent et nous font vivre. Elles nous font rêver quand on
s’imagine l’histoire qu’il raconte, comme s’il était assis à côté de nous et
qu’on était pote.
With an unusual voice who fits perfectly whit his sweet guitar chords,
Aliocha writes and sings what is the closest to a poem. It’s more than a simple
story, his songs are transporting us to somewhere new, they make us live. This
is the kind of song where we imagine the story he tells in the same times he
sings it, as if he was sitting next to us and we were friends.
Son authenticité se transmet
autant dans ses paroles « I laugh
with myself now that you make me cry » mais aussi dans l’enregistrement
de ses chansons. Let Me Laugh et Flesh In The Pan qui sont des chansons
écrites il y a plus longtemps mais qui n’ont pas été retouchées et qui gardent
leur crédibilité malgré le temps qui passe. Et c’est sous le signe de cette
authenticité que son album sera placé, il ne veut pas quelque chose d’orchestré
et trop propre mais laisse place à une fragilité et un côté imparfait qui le
distingue du reste.
His truthfulness is transferred as much in his lyrics « I laugh with myself now that you make
me cry » as in the recording process of his songs. Let Me Laugh and Flesh In The Pan are old songs who haven’t been adjusted and
kept their credibility through the years. And it’s under the sign of this
authenticity that his album will be, as he doesn’t want something too
orchestrated and clean, but he let some space for some fragility and an imperfect
side wh distinguish him from the rest.
