DISCOVER : The Orders

The Orders are a 3 piece band made by Kyle Chapman, the singer and guitarist, Issac Snow at the bass and backing vocals and Josh Edwards on the drums. This new band was first in high school and then formed in 2013 where they played at The Isle of Whight festival, in the hipshaker’s tent where they mainly played covers, but still : this is when the band really started. 

What strikes the most in their music is their riff. As a 3 piece band, a « good balance of catchy in melodies and a cool riff » is how their songs work. There’s just one guitar so they have to make the most of it and create cool and remerberable hooks (Kyle calls himself the Captain Hook, pretty cool innit). 

The band only has 2 singles on their hands, but they’re going to keep sharing more and more songs to grow their fanbase and have more support to when they’ll release an EP or album. One thing is sure : you’re not done hearing of this band as  they’re planning to make music for a long very time. For now they keep playing live shows and Kyle writing songs until a  « big, important, sun glasses wearing, cash flashing, music body to recognise [them] and help [them] out »

The Orders est un groupe anglais composé de Kyle Chapman à la guitare et au chant, d’Isaac Snow à la basse et aux backing vocals et Josh Edwards, à la batterie et aux percussions. Les membres de ce groupe relativement nouveau se connaissent depuis le lycée où ils se sont formés et ont joué au festival Isle of Whight un peu plus tard, dans une tente où il ne faisait que des covers mais tout de même, le groupe est né. 

Ce qu’on remarque le plus dans leurs chansons c’est leurs riffs. Comme ils ne sont que 3 dans le groupe « le bon équilibre entre une mélodie catchy et des riffs cool » est l’ingrédient pour faire des chansons. Il n’y a qu’une guitare et une basse dans le groupe ils doivent donc en prendre plein avantage et créer des riffs qui nous marquerons lors des différentes écoutes de leurs chansons. (Kyle s’est auto renommé le Captain Hook, plutôt cool). 

Le groupe n’a que 2 singles à son actif mais ils comptent bien continuer à partager de plus en plus de chansons pour gonfler leur fanbase et avoir plus de soutient quand ils sortiront un EP ou un album. En tout cas une chose est sur : vous n’avez pas fini d’entendre parler d’eux, ils comptent faire de la music pendant encore un très long moment. Mais aujourd’hui ils continuent à jouer en live et Kyle continue d’écrire des chansons jusqu’à ce qu’un «grand, important, agent musical qui porte des lunettes de soleil et a beaucoup d’argent les découvre et les aide ».
