Live review : Frankie Cosmos @ La Maroquinerie

Il y a un an on se rendait au Point Ephémère pour découvrir le nouvel album de Frankie Cosmos « Next Thing » en live. On était sorti le cœur chaud par les good vibes qu’il y avait entre la chanteuse et son public ainsi que la belle transmission de ses chansons en live.

Mi-juillet c’est cette fois à la maroquinerie qu’on s’est rendu pour redécouvrir la chanteuse dans le cadre d’une soirée pré la route du rock. Cette maroquinerie était presque remplie et pourtant la jeune fille timide qu’on avait connu l’année dernière n’a pas flanché au contraire, en un an la chanteuse à gagner beaucoup de confiance en elle et a su nous faire redécouvre ses douces chansons d’une toute nouvelle manière. Même si la setlist était sensiblement la même, l’assurance de Greta et le fait que la salle soit beaucoup plus adaptée à leur musique nous a fait apprécier les jolis textes de du groupe encore plus qu’avant. A year ago we were gathering at Le Point Ephémère to discover Frankie Cosmos' new album, "Next Thing" live. We left the venue with a warm heart filled with first the good vibes existing between the audience and the signer but also with the great transmission of the songs live.

Mid-july it's at La Maroquinerie that we went to rediscover the young singer at a pre- route du rock (a french rock festival based in Brittany happening mid-august). This venue was almost filled and still the young shy girl that we used to know from last year wasn't that impressed. It was the opposite actually, within a year she managed to gain so much confidence and to sing her sweet songs in a new way. Even if the setlist was basically the same than last year, Greta's confidence and the fact that the venue was way more appropriate made us appreciate their music even more than before.
