Praise the Lorde

2017 est définitivement l'année de Lorde. La chanteuse néo-zélandaise a su faire un comeback impressionnant après presque 4 ans d'absence en nous livrant ce qui est sans aucun doute un des meilleurs albums de l'année. Entre rupture amoureuse et crise existentielle sur la place d'une jeune femme de 20 ans dans ce vaste monde, Lorde va se livrer de manière tellement vraie et poétique que tout le monde peut s’identifier aux magnifiques textes et chansons que la jeune popstar a écrits et composer.

Mais aujourd'hui je suis venue vous présenter 2 autres façons d’apprécier son travail.Tout d'abord avec un podcast retraçant son processus de création, chanson par chanson. Au mois de mai la jeune chanteuse s'est entretenue avec un journaliste de the spinoff dans sa Nouvelle-Zélande natale pour raconter comment chacune de ses chansons est née et a été construite. Passionnant et enivrant les explications données par Lorde donnent un nouvel aspect à l'album, nous font remarquer des détails et font apparaître des sensations qui n'étaient pas forcément présentes lors des précédentes écoutes.

Beteen her breakup and her existential crisis about being a young adult in this wide world, Lorde confessed herself in such a true and poetic way that everybody can identify with her wonderful lyrics and songs that the pop stars wrote and created.

Last May the young singer gathered with the SpinOff in her native new zealand to tell the story of how the songs were born and built. Thrilling and heady, the explanations given by Lorde are giving a new turn to the album, they make us notice more details and reveal new feelings whom weren't there during the past listenings.
