Alors qu'en Europe nous étions tous dans les bras de Morphée, l’Australie se réveillait au doux son de Cub Sport qui a sorti aujourd’hui la vidéo de leur nouveau single Chasin’, extrait de leur deuxième album BATS. Mais alors Cub Sport, c’est qui et pourquoi est-ce que tu devrais aller les écouter?
Originaires de Brisbane, ce quatuore pop-alternatif fait beaucoup parler de lui dans l’hémisphère sud. En effet, Tim Nelson et Sam Netterfield, respectivement le vocaliste et le pianiste du groupe, sont récemment devenu le couple le plus mignon de toute l’Australie. Et leur coming out a entraîné beaucoup de changement pour le groupe et leur musique. Leurs débuts étaient beaucoup plus électriques, et ce deuxième album nous apporte une pop plus sensible. Ils le disent eux-mêmes : la vidéo pour Chasin’ est une “célébration de vivre sans peur d’être vulnérable et du concept de la force par la tendresse”.

Originally from Brisbane, this pop-alternative quartet is on everyone’s lips in the southern hemisphere. Infact, Tim Nelson and Sam Netterfield, respectively the vocalist and the pianist of the band, have recently become the cutest couple in all of Australia. And their coming out brought a lot of change for the band and their music. Their debut was much more electric, and this second album brings us a much more sensitive pop. They say it themselves: the video for Chasin' is “celebration of being fearlessly vulnerable and the concept of strength through softness”
