SYLF : Les Nuits Bota, le récap part1
Après 7 nuits passées au bota pour les festival les Nuits Botaniques, on vous fait un récap (en 2 parties) des meilleurs concert du festival.
But Insecure Men however are this weird british men that you don’t know if you hate them or actually love them (spoiler alert you love them). With their bottle of wine with them and at least 10 people on stage, they gave a complete, profound and raw performance that we rarely saw nowadays.
Mais Insecure Men c’est le contraire. C’est un groupe d’anglais tout aussi perché que talentueux où tu sais pas trop si tu les aimes ou tu les détestes tellement ils sont saoulent et loin. Mais au final tu t’en fiches parce qu’il te livrent un set profond, complet et brut que tu vois rarement de nos jours.
Mabel is a young british r’n’b singer with a great future ahead of her. After touring with Harry Styles at the beginning of the year she started her own headline tour and spent a night in Brussels for the festival. And if musically, the show was perfect (her voice is trully incredible and soft) but however, it’s a shame that she’s trying to perform at a level she’s not yet. She performed with an outfit in which she was clearly not comfortable in which unfortunately penalised her during the show. Even if she clearly has a bright future, it’s important that her ambition does not entrave her shows.
Mabel c’est une jeune chanteuse de r’n’b avec un grand et beau futur devant elle. Après avoir été la 1e partie d’Harry Styles au début de l’année, elle commencé sa tournée en tête d’affiche à Bruxelles, pour les Nuits Bota. Et si musicalement il n’y avait rien à redire (sa voix est vraiment puissante et douce), c’est cependant dommage qu’elle essaye de performer à un niveau où elle n’est pas encore. Son choix de tenue l’a pénalisé pendant son show qui semblait du coup peu préparé. Car même si elle a un bel avenir, ca reste dommage que ses ambitions entravent son show.
- Yellow Days / Insecure Men
The thing with les Nuits Botaniques is that all the line up are awesome. So for our first night we headed to cry and have chills over Yellow Days’ soft electro-pop. His broken voice and iconic guitar make his music even more emotionnal and powerful.
Le truc avec les Nuits Bota c’est que toute la line up est ouf, et que du coup tu te retrouves un même soir à voir deux concerts incroyable. La soirée a donc commencée avec Yellow Days et sa douce électro pop qui nous a donné des frissons. Avec sa voix cassée and sa guitare iconique, sa musique était encore plus puissante et émotionnelle.

- Angèle
The great Angèle came home to present her new show, in front of her friends, family and probably her most faithful audience. The show, sold out since november, kept getting better and better through the night. With her original unreleased songs, her incredible and very emotional cover of ‘Bruxelles Ma Belle’ and her very acclaimed first singles and duet with her brother, the young, successful and humble belgian singer crushed her show and showed the world (or at least the people who were there) that she genuinely is the future of mainstream french music.
La grande Angèle est retournée à la maison pour un show sold out depuis Novembre devant ses amis, sa famille et probablement son public le plus fidèle. Et on a pas été déçue par son set n’a fait que de devenir meilleur au fur et à mesure que la soirée se déroulait. Avec autant ses chansons encore dans son ordinateur et présentées qu’en live que son cover incroyable et poignant de ‘Bruxelles, Ma Belle’ et ses très acclamés premiers single, la jeune, talentueuse et très humble chanteuse belge a montré au monde (ou tout du moins à Bruxelles) qu’elle est le future de la musique francophone.
