The Parrots - Girl
Cet été a été plein de rock et de femmes. On fait pas les règles mais on se plaint pas. Et les espagnols de The Parrots l'ont bien compris en partageant un clip pour leur nouvel chanson 'GIRL'. Et oh mon dieu - ce clip! Déjà la chanson en elle-même est incroyable : des rifs de guitares, du lo-fi à foison et la touche espagnole qui te donne envie de danser et de te rouler par terre en même temps tellement la musique est trop bien. Et donc en plus de tout ça le clip à des airs des années 60's/70's, comme un rappel aux sonorités et influences du groupe. Tournées dans des décors et tenues vintages, si tu mélanges tout ce dont on vient de parler tu trouves un clip aesthetiquement plaisant et tellement coloré sans froler le kitsh une seule fois (big up au col roulé bleu de Diego) - un vrai miracle!
Aucune tournée européenne a encore été annoncée donc si tu veux te bouger au doux son du rock espagnol il te faudra aller au Royaume-Unis, où les madrilènes ont annoncé une tournée. Plus d'infos et tickets ICI.
This summer was full of rock and girls. We don't make the rules but we won't complain. And the Spanish from The Parrots understood it well and shared a video for their new song 'GIRL'. And oh my god - this clip!!! Firs tof all the song is already dope. It's full of guitar riffs, lo-fi and has a special spanish touch whomst makes you want to dance and roll opn the floor cause the music is just too good and you can't help it. So add to that the 60's/70's vibes of the clip - probably a reminder to the band's sound / influences. Shot in vintage et and clothes, if you mix all of the above you have an aesthetically pleasing and so colourful video without once being kitsch (big up to Diego's bright blue turtleneck sweater).
No european tour have been announced yet however you can still go to the UK to move your fine hips to their music this october. More infos and dates HERE.
