Live review : Hozier @ Cirque Royal

Notre Irlandais préféré est sortit de sa grotte il y a quelques semaines en sortant le magnifique Nina Cried Power EP après 4 ans d'absence et a annoncé une tournée à l'occasion. Les douces notes de Like Real People Do commencent à résonner dans le Cirque Royal tout comme la puissante voix d'Hozier et celle de ses chanteuses incroyablement talentueuses. La chanson éponyme de son dernier EP arrive ensuite et le public commence à chanter en même temps que lui, pas de doute, même si fait 4 ans que Take Me To Church est sortit et qu'on avait pas eu de nouvelle musique de la part d'Hozier son succès et son univers ont marqué les esprits. L'irlandais nous plonge de nouveau dans son univers en enchainement nouvelles chansons extraites de son nouvel EP ainsi que celles de son premier opus grâce à une setlist efficaces et une présence sur scène toujours aussi forte. Our fave Irish man came back to us a few weeks ago by releasing the beautiful EP 'Nina Cried Power EP', after 4 years without releasing any new music. He also announced a world tour with it and that's basically how, in 2018, we finally had the opportunity to see the only man who deserve to have rights - Hozier. The sweet notes of Like Real People Do start to resound at le Cirque Royal as well as Hozier and his incedibly talented singers' powerful voices. The eponym song from his EP comes next and the audience starts singing with him - there's now no doubt that even if mister Hozier went undercover for a few years his audience is still here and very faithful to his so unique pop folk. The Irish is dragging us back to his universe by singing both songs from his first album as well as new ones with a very efficient setlist and a very strong stage presence.
