Johnny Lloyd s’est
fait connaitre dès 2011 avec son groupe Tribes formé à
Londres. Après 2 EP et 2 albums sortis en l’espace de 2 ans,
Johnny Lloyd est revenu avec un EP en solo en 2014. Même si on ne
connaît pas grand-chose à propos du chanteur, son premier EP nous
montre quel point il est doué avec les mots, mais également avec sa
guitare, omniprésente dans ses chansons.
L’anglais
vient d’annoncer la sortie d’un second EP prévu pour le 13 mai,
produit par Hugo White des Maccabees et Jamie T. En attendant vous
pouvez découvrir le premier extrait de son EP, Hello Death
écrite lors d’une période de transition, au moment de passer à
une nouvelle étape de sa vie.

Llyod made itself known back in 2011 with his London based band
Tribes. After 2 Eps and 2 Albums out in only 2 years, Johnny
Lloyd came back with a solo EP in 2014. Even if you we don't know
much about, his first EP shows us how much he's good with words, but
also with his guitar, ubiquitous in most of his songs.
The
British announced a 2nd EP to be released for the 13rd
of may. Produced by Hugo White from The Maccabes and Jamie T, his EP
seems promising. Meanwhile, you can listen the first extract of his
EP, Hello Death, written in a transition period of his while
waiting for a new one to begin.
After few months touring with Mystery Jets, Black Honey and The Maccabees, Johnny will play at Handmade Festival in April and at Focus Wales in May. You can download and stream his first EP for free on soundcloud HERE.
