Nina Nesbitt signe chez Cooking Vinyl Records
Nina Nesbitt est une auteure-compositrice écossaise d'indie pop, connue dès 2012 lorsqu'elle a fait la première partie d'Ed Sheeran en Europe. Destinée d'abord à une carrière d'écrivaine, la jeune Ecossaise va se retrouver à faire une carrière de la musique grâce à sa belle plume qui donne de très beaux textes mais également grâce au fait qu'elle est multi-instrumentiste : le fait qu'elle joue de la guitare, du piano et de la flute est un atout majeur. Dès 2011 elle signe chez Universal Music et sort 6 EPs entre 2011 et 2016, mais également un album Stay Out, en 2013 qui a connu un fort succès. En Mai dernier Nina à annoncé qu'elle avait quitté son label et en septembre elle demande à ses fans de leur raconter leur histoire pour qu'elle puisse s'inspirer et en écrire des chansons. Elle a donc choisi 5 histoires et en a sorti un EP : Life in Colour EP en octobre dernier chez N2 Records. Plus mature et poussé, cet EP signe un tournant dans la musique de la jeune fille. Cet EP a été écrit en même temps que son second album prévu pour 2017, dont ce dernier sortira chez Cooking Vinyl Records (Lewis Watson, Groove Armada, The Pretty Reckless etc) comme vient de l'annoncer fièrement la jeune écossaise sur twitter. Ci-dessous vous pouvez retrouver le clip de Chewing Gum, le single issu de son EP Modern Love sortit plus tôt cette année.

Nina Nesbitt is an indie-pop Scottish singer-songwriter, known since 2012 as she opened for Ed Sheeran in Europe. Originally, she was aimed to a writing career, but she ended up in music thanks to her talent in writing, which gifted us with beautiful and meaningful lyrics, but also due to the fact that she plays multiple instruments : she can indeed play the guitar, the piano and the flute. In 2011 she signed with Universal Music and release 6 EPs between 2011 and 2016, and an album Stay Out in 2013 who had a big success. Last May she announced that she left her label and in September she asked her fans to tell her their stories so she could write songs about them. She ended up picking 5 stories and in last October released under N2 Records her new EP Life In Colours EP inspired by those 5 stories. More mature and advanced, this EP is a sign of a new turn in Nina's music. It was written at the same time than her second album, due to be released in 2017 through Cooking Vinyl Records (Lewis Watson, Groove Armada, The Pretty Reckless, ...) as she proudly announced it on Twitter.
