Oh My My - One Republic.
On aime le rythme pop de Kids, A.I., Better ou encore Lift Me Up. Sur cet opus, nous retrouvons le titre Fingertips qui casse le son effréné de Oh My My et qui nous permet d'admirer les talents vocaux du chanteur.
All we want at the end of the listening session is to be as cool as Ryan Tedder is. With this new album, the band showed that they could evolved with time but still keep their personnal touch. Most of the song are hits. But is that a problem ? Not really. We love this upbeat sound on Kids, A.I., Better and Lift Me Up. But Fingertips slows everything down and lets us enjoy the singer's vocals.

Gameshow - Two Doors Cinema Club

The three Irish from Two Doors Cinema Club are a new addition to the list of artists who managed to recreate themselves musically speaking and who did it well. Indeed, the trio is well known for its electro past with its two albums, Tourist History and Beacon, respectively released in 2010 and 2012. But after a world tour and some crazy shows that resulted as a good reputation for the band, they took a well deserved 4 year break, to chill out, compose and finally come back with their new album Gameshow. This record is a new page for the band who lead into sounds very far from their first records : more funk, disco and rock which remind us of the 80's, for a stunning result. In this album we can find as entertaining songs, mixing synthé and a slowly imposing electric guitar as in Lavender, as more funk songs like Fever but also some deep and wonderful guitar's solos like in Invicible. Lyricly speaking, the band managed to write and produce some very beautiful tracks and stories, like once again, Invicible who's for sure the best song of the album. In a nutshell, Gameshow is the kind of record who, in addition to giving you chills simply with a guitar solo and then making you dance on the following song, makes you feel incredibly glad to witness the talent of the three Irish.
Selection : Invincible, Fever, Lavender
WALLS - Kings of Leon
WALLS is Kings of Leon's seventh album and there is no doubt it's someone else's thanks to their very own guitar chords. This time, the album is weighting on the mainstream side as show "Wild" or "Waste A Time" but the Americans don't forget they are from Tennessee and will subtly insert country in every songs.

We already talked about them in a Songs Of Sunday, the two very young multi instrumentalist americans of The Lemon Twigs already released their first album this month. Colorful, diversified, suprising and incredibly high, this album is a real surprise : we never know what we're gonna hear next, what the next chord or song is gonna sound like. With a sound that remind us of the 1970's but who stays quite unique, The Lemon Twigs managed to prove through this album that they are promised to a very bright musical future.
Selection : I wanna prove to you, As long as we're together, Haroomata
Every Now & Then - Jagwar Ma

After the success of their first record in 2013, the Australians came back this autumn with a second awaited record and who's probably gonna be a part of a lot of articles about the best releases of the year within a month. The album starts with Falling, a musical introduction to this record. Faithful to their psychedelic sound, it's with softness that the Australians are making us travel through their music. The album goes on with Say What You Feel and Loose Ends, very soft and high pitched they put forward the beauty and the composition's talent of the band. However Give Me A Reason and Slipping will be the turning point of this record. While the first one give us the impression of dancing on a cloud with its chord and its entertaining backup vocals, the second one, deeper, is the apogee of the australians' work. The first lyrics start and we get that we're entering in two new phases of the album. First in an entertaining world with Ordinary, Batter Up and O B 1 to then fall in a darker world. While Slipping is opening on "save your soul/Cause your time is slipping away so fast" the album is turning into a psychedelic world more pronounced and its on this way that the album is closing with High Rotation, Don't Make It Right and Colours of Paradise. During this 50 minute the trio that is Jagwar Ma managed to remake itself and to create a passionate musical journey, from the beginning to the end.
Selection : Give Me a Reason, Batter Up, Slipping

Integrity Blue - Jimmy Eat World
Selection : It Matters - You Are Free - Integrity Blues.

Integrity Blues is a refreshing album, full of hope it gives us bravery through its sweetener pop and makes us feel alive at every lively chord. Perfect for the long car rides, but also for the solitary ballads, Jimmy Eat World's album is gonna be the soundtrack of our autumn.
