Fermez les yeux. Imaginez ce à
quoi pourrait ressembler une chanson regroupant la puissance et la magie des
harmonies d’ALT-J mélangé à la voix de sirène d’Ellie Rowsell de Wolf Alice. Un
rêve maintenant devenu réalité avec le nouveau single du groupe anglais : 3WW.
Après nous avoir teasé le morceau sur les réseaux sociaux, ils ont non
seulement sorti la chanson mais ont également annoncé la sortie de leur album
prévu pour le 9 juin et quelques dates de tournée.

Close your eyes. Now imagine what
would look like a song mixing the power and the magic of ALT-J’s harmonies with
Ellie Rowsell’s mermaid voice. A dream now come true with the new single of the
British band : 3WW. After teasing us their song on social media, they
eventually released it and also revealed they’ll release a new album on June
9th and shared a few tour dates.

- · Glass Animals – Pork Soda
Ce n’est pas une nouvelle chanson
mais un nouveau clip que Glass Animals a sorti cette semaine. En effet, dans un
univers toujours autant old school mais unique le groupe a dévoilé le clip
d’une des meilleures chansons de leur album : Pork Soda. C’est
aesthetiquement plaisant et parfait pour entendre Dave chanter
« Pineapples are in my head » toute la journée dans la tête (et sans
jamais se lasser).
This week Glass Animals didn’t
released a new song, but a new video, and we love it. Indeed, faithful to their
old school, but unique universe, the band revealed the video for one of the
best songs of their album : Pork Soda. It’s aesthetically pleasing and
perfect to hear Dave singing « Pineapples are in my head » all day
long in your head (and never get sick of it).
- · Girlpool - 123
Et last but not least, cette
semaine a aussi signé le retour de notre duo féminin préféré : Girlpool. Les 2 Américaines ont captivé
notre attention avec la sortie de leur premier album Before the world
was big il y a 2 ans maintenant. Avec de magnifiques harmonies et
seulement une basse et une guitare elles ont su prouver qu’on pouvait faire des
merveilles. Aujourd’hui elles reviennent avec 123, un son plus épuré qui marque
l’arrivée d’une batterie dans leur musique, tout aussi douce qu’il y a 2 ans.
Elles ont également annoncé la sortie d’un nouvel opus, Powerplant, le 12 mai
et on peut espérer une tournée prochainement.
And last but not least, Girlpool,
our favourite female duo is back. The 2 Americans captivated us after with Before The World Was Big, their first album. With beautiful
harmonies and only a bass and a guitar they proved that you can do wonders with
just that. Today they’re back with 123, a more refine song that marks the presence
of drums in their music, still as sweet as it was 2 years ago. They also
announced they’ll be releasing their second album Powerplant out on 12th May
and we can hope some tour dates soon too.
