SONGS OF SUNDAY : female voices are in my head

Un nouveau Songs of Sunday toujours placé sous le signe des femmes qui font de la musique mais cette fois-ci on a décidé de mettre en avant quelques groupes avec des femmes en tant que chanteuses principales et surtout de mettre en avant leur voix qui nous réchauffe tant le coeur. Alors accrochez vous et laissez nous vous introduire aux incroyables femmes derrière Anteros, Black Honey et Off Bloom.

A new Songs of Sunday, still with women making music but this time we're putting forward a few bands with women as their lead singer and their incredible voices whom warms our hearts. Today let us introduce you to the women behind Black Honey, Anteros and Off Bloom - and happy sunday.

• Izzy B phillips et Black Honey 

Pas vraiment un nouveau groupe en soit vu qu'on a déjà présenté leur musique pleins de fois, autant que ce soit en reviewant leur EP, partageant les dates de tournées qu'en les featurant dans nos playlists. Mais je crois qu'on ne se lassera jamais de ce groupe et surtout de la voix de la chanteuse. Sa voix mielleuse nous met du baume au cœur à chaque écoute et nous fait rêver à chaque chanson. Si vous avez l'occasion de les voir en live, ne loupez surtout pas ça, ça vaut vraiment le coup rien que pour la fabuleuse Izzy.

 Not really a new band as we already talked about their music many times. Wether it's by reviewing their EP, sharing their tour dates or featuring them in our playlists, we're actually talking a lot about them. But it's worth it as for us Izzy as one of the dreamiest voice. Her voice warms our hearts and we daydream everytime we hear one of their songs. If you have the opportunity to catch them live, go and see them  just for the incredible Izzy you won't regret it.

• Laura Hayden et Anteros

Je pense que dans nos vies on a tous besoin d'un groupe indie pop, qui nous fait danser et nous fait sentir légèr rien qu'en entendant la voix enivrante de la chanteuse. Grâce à Laura Hayden et Anteros c'est possible. Quand vous écoutez leur musique vous vous sentez bien et vous voulez pas que ca s'arrête. Belle excuse pour écouter leur EP "Drunk EP" sortit un peu plus tôt cette année en boucle.

I think that in our lives, we all need a good indie pop band, who make us dance ad feel good just by hearing the singer"s voice. Thanks to Laura Hayden and Anteros it's actually possible. When you listen to their music you feel good and you don't want it to stop.  Good excuse to listen to their EP "Drunk EP" released earlier this year on repeat.

• Mette and Off Bloom.

En restant dans l'esprit scandinave dans lequel on vous avait mis lors du dernier Songs of Sunday, on vous présente maintenant Off Bloom tout droit venu du Danemark. Ce trio, mélodiquement mené par la voix de Mette, commence à tracer son petit bout de route et s'impose comme une nouvelle référence dans la scène indie électronique venue du nord. Après Love To Hate It et Falcon Eye, des singles déjà très bien reçus, Shut Up And Let Me Talk est le premier track tiré de leur futur EP "Lover Like Me", annoncé pour le 20 Octobre. Choisis pour faire les premières parties de Fickle Friends et de Dua Lipa, chez CrossMusics nous sommes fières de les voir fleurir. On vous laisse découvrir leur clip ci-dessous. 

To keep in the Scandinavian spirit in which you were put during the last Song of Sunday, we want to introduce you to danish band Off Bloom. This trio, melodically led by the voice of Mette, is beginning to carve their path and proving themselves as a new reference in the electronic indie scene from the North. After Love To Hate It and Falcon Eye, already well received singles, Shut Up And Let Me Talk is the first track from their future EP "Lover Like Me", announced for October 20th.
