Rat Boy releases "Lowers Law"
Rat Boy c'est le pseudonyme qu'à choisi Jordan Cardy, un jeune anglais de 19 ans originaire d'Essex dans le sud de Londres pour partager son art et sa musique. Il a su se démarquer dès septembre 2014 avec un son authentique et assez unique mêlant hip hop, rock et punk en partageant Sign On, une chanson auto-produite accompagné de son clip. Ce premier single lui a valu de bonnes critiques et du support de la part de magazines musicaux indépendants comme DIY ou NME. Depuis Rat Boy a tracé son chemin, surtout à travers le Royaume-Uni où il a fait la première partie de groupe avec une forte influence comme The 1975 ou Slaves mais a également fait quelques tournées en tant qu'headliner qui ont rencontré un succès fou. Après avoir sortit un premier EP cet été et après avoir annoncé sa présence à Les Inrocks Festival en France cet automne, Rat Boy vient de partager une nouvelle chanson Lovers Law. Rat Boy reprend la même formule bordélique mais entraînante qui lui est propre en ajoutant des ton disco et kitsh, parfait pour bien commencer la journée ou la soirée.
Rat Boy is the stage name chosen by Jordan Cardy, a 19 years-old British from Essex, in the south of London, to share his music. He has managed to distinguish himself since September 2014 with quite authentic and unique sound, mixing hip hop, rock and punk by sharing Sing On, a self-produced song, joined by its video. This first single waved him good critics and back up from indemepndant music magazines like DIY and NME. Since then Rat Boy has made his own way, especially across the UK, by opening for bigger bands like The 1975 or Slaves on one hand, and on the other hand by doing his own headline tour, which had a great success. And after releasing his first EP this summer and announcing that he'll be part of Les Inrocks Festival in France this autumn, Rat Boy just shared his new song Lovers Law. Rat Boy is using the same messy, but entertaining formula who's unique and added a disco and kitch sound, perfect to start the day or the night well.
